About

Tracy Weber is an independent consultant with 20+ years of strategic and operational experience. About a decade ago, she formed her practice, Wellesley Strategy Advisors, and has been serving clients predominately in the healthcare, technology, and private equity sectors. Earlier in her career, she worked in strategic roles at Fortune 500 technology companies.

As a management consultant, Tracy most often takes on business strategy projects. She is skilled at assessing a company’s offering, conducting market research, building financial models, and delivering actionable recommendations. Her work also includes assisting private equity firms with due diligence assessments and value creation studies. Wellesley Strategy Advisors has helped a diverse set of clients with interesting challenges. For example, a digital healthcare startup engaged Tracy to build an interactive model to explore key business decisions, refine its business plan, and secure funding. A large global medical device company employed her to develop a worldwide glucose monitoring forecast to build consensus amongst the company’s top management and board members. A private equity firm brought Tracy on to supplement their due diligence efforts on an industrial robotics company.

In addition, Tracy joins case teams at other strategy consulting firms, including Health Business Group, a boutique healthcare strategy firm staffed with talented experienced consultants. Finally, Tracy helps Canadian healthcare companies expand into the U.S. through her work as a mentor for the Canadian Technology Accelerator in Boston, an award-winning incubator program.

Prior to becoming a consultant, Tracy spent 10 years in the high-tech sector. At Nortel Networks and Hewlett Packard/Agilent Technologies, she held roles in marketing, new ventures, and corporate development. At these organizations, she built domain knowledge in the telecom/datacom, wireless, video, and server markets.

Tracy holds a B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from McGill University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
